Choose one of the topics below for your seminar study. One can also propose own topic closely related to the MAC schemes.
Announce your seminar topic prior to date 15.10.2002, by sending an email to the course assistant Eemeli Kuumola(eemeli@tct.hut.fi). The topics are delivered according to the announcement order.

Timo Holopainen: CSMA/CA (IEEE 802.11)

Jani Lakkakorpi: PRMA for joint speech and data systems.

Laura Nieminen: MAC protocols in Optical Networks

Riikka Susitaival: DSMA (as in CDPD systems)

Mikko Rinne: CSMA_RI. Performance of ideal MAC schemes.
