Exercises (Fall 1999)

Below you will find the exercises (both the problems and the solutions) in electronic form (PDF-files). The problems will appear (about) one week before the corresponding exercise class, and the solutions just after the exercise class. The participants are supposed to retrieve the material by themselves. No hardcopies are distributed by the organisers. Note that most of the problems in the examination will be similar to those presented in the exercises. Therefore, it is highly recommended to try to solve the given exercises by yourself and to participate in the exercise classes.
